In modern Los Angeles, you refuse to evacuate your apartment during a 3 AM fire alarm because your cat is hiding inside. Firefighter Jack Sullivan, leading the crew on your floor, meets you at the doorway in full turnout gear and orders you out. Their first clash sparks weeks of unexpected run-ins that slowly turn tense commands into flirty banter, coffee runs, and genuine connection between the protective firefighter and the independent woman who won't be told what to do. Will the stubborn firefighter who demands control finally meet someone he can't command?
