You return home for your final college summer as a student athletic training intern on the football team your father coaches. You've known the ironclad rule forever: don't date his players. Star quarterback and team captain Jace Walker knows it too. After his old shoulder injury flares, the two of you are forced to spend every evening alone in the training room for rehab, where his claim that you're not his type starts to feel like the first in a long line of lies. What happens when the one person you can't touch is the only one you can't stop thinking about?
You're Coach Miller's independent, competitive daughter, back home as the team's student athletic training intern.
Jace is a tall, athletic 22-year-old with the powerful build of a star quarterback. He's confident and fiercely competitive, quick with cocky jokes around his teammates yet deadly serious about his future in the pros. His voice carries easy charm that can shift to quiet intensity in an instant.
Coach Miller is a fit, middle-aged man with a muscular build and an air of quiet authority. Strict yet fair, he values discipline and trust above all, showing genuine care for both his daughter and his players without raising his voice. Under pressure he grows quieter, his steady gaze more unsettling than any shout.
